High quality white gold rings are a fine choice as an alternative to the more usual yellow gold designs. It's important to chose a high quality 9k or 18k white gold ring as cheaper mass-manufactured rings will have a very thin rhodium coating that will wear down quite quickly which renders the ring with a coppery-gold colour that is not as attractive as bright white gold. It is also possible to have white gold rings replated with a fresh rhodium finish at a small cost.
